Los Angeles, California — Kronos Fusion Energy (KFE) is proud to announce a significant initiative to build a scalable infrastructure for the large-scale commercialization of our S.M.A.R.T Fusion Energy industrial heating and electricity generators. At Kronos Fusion Energy, we are leveraging digital twin technology to optimize the design, testing, and deployment of our fusion reactors. Digital twins allow us to create precise simulations of our reactors, enabling us to predict and enhance performance while minimizing risks. “Digital twins are a game-changer for fusion energy. They enable us to iterate and refine our designs in a virtual environment, significantly accelerating our development and test processes,” said Jon Michel Greenwood, CTO of Kronos Fusion Energy. This technology is a cornerstone of our strategy to achieve rapid and efficient commercialization.
Kronos Fusion Energy launched our Supply Chain Partnership Portal in July 2024 in an effort to scale up human power for commercialization as a community of companies. This innovative platform is designed to streamline collaboration with our partners, ensuring efficient communication, resource sharing, and project management. The portal will serve as a central hub for all our supply chain activities, from sourcing materials to coordinating logistics and compliance. By integrating cutting-edge technology and robust security measures, the portal aims to foster a transparent and productive partnership ecosystem. We invite all potential partners to explore the portal at www.kronosfusionenergy.com/partnerships to discover opportunities for collaboration and innovation in the fusion energy sector.

Our team’s dedication and innovative spirit have propelled us to the forefront of fusion energy research. As we celebrate our two-year milestone, we look forward to forging new partnerships that will help us realize the full potential of fusion energy,” said Priyanca Iyengar Ford, Founder of Kronos Fusion Energy.
We are actively seeking experts and companies in critical areas such as assembly and tooling, metrology and visualization, remote handling and diagnostics, logistics and transport, materials and fabrication, magnet and heating systems, cooling and cryogenics, power supply and management, plasma control and safety, fueling and breeding systems, blanket and divertor, heat management, quality assurance and legal compliance, environmental and waste management, security and emergency systems, and site infrastructure. If your organization has expertise in any of these fields or if you are an aspiring entrepreneur eager to enter the fusion energy sector, please reach out to us at Partnerships@kfe-inc.com or visit our partnership portal at The Kronos Fusion Energy Partnerships Portal.
Last month, we had the honor of presenting at the inaugural public-private conference at ITER Organization. Our presentation, titled “From Concept to Reality: Integrating Kronos S.M.A.R.T. Fusion Reactor with the Grid,” showcased the results of our hard work and our vision for the future. Link : Video : From Concept to Reality: Integrating Kronos S.M.A.R.T. Fusion Reactor with the Grid. It was a privilege to represent the Kronos team and share our progress with the fusion energy community. Since childhood, I have admired ITER, and I am proud to follow in the footsteps of the many great scientists who have walked its pathways. This presentation has strengthened our optimism about the commercialization of large-scale fusion energy. You can watch the presentation video on YouTube: From Concept to Reality: Integrating Kronos S.M.A.R.T. Fusion Reactor with the Grid.
We commend the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for their forward-thinking approach in releasing the DOE Fusion Energy Strategy 2024, which marks the two-year anniversary of the U.S. Bold Decadal Vision for Commercial Fusion Energy. The DOE’s efforts highlight the critical role fusion energy will play in the future of global energy innovation.
Fusion energy, particularly helium-3 fusion, holds immense promise for space exploration. Its potential for high energy output with minimal radiation makes it ideal for powering long-duration space missions and future space settlements. “Helium-3 fusion offers a transformative solution for sustaining life and operations beyond Earth. At Kronos Fusion Energy, we are pioneering this technology to fuel the future of space travel,” said David Beck, Branch Chief , Space Industrial Base & Supply Chain at the United States Space Force & Board Advisor at Kronos Fusion Energy.
Meanwhile, China is making significant strides in fusion energy through its new national industrial consortium, China Fusion Energy Inc., led by the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC). The consortium pools national resources to advance fusion technology, focusing on high-temperature superconducting magnets, large-capacity energy storage, and tritium production with over 40,000 engineers. China’s central government has declared controlled nuclear fusion as the future direction for energy, with plans to build an industrial prototype fusion reactor, dubbed an “artificial sun,” by 2035 and start large-scale commercial production by 2050. This parallel effort highlights the global race towards fusion energy commercialization.
Beyond technological advancements, our mission at Kronos Fusion Energy includes addressing energy inequality and empowering communities with reliable, affordable energy. Fusion energy has the potential to bridge the energy gap, providing underserved regions with the power needed for development and growth. Additionally, fusion energy is poised to fuel the future of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and space travel and settlements, propelling humanity into a new era of innovation.
Navigating global nuclear regulations and technology licensing is crucial for the success of fusion energy. Aneutronic fusion, which produces minimal radioactive waste and does not require a breeding cycle for fuel, presents a safer and more sustainable option for international deployment. This approach simplifies regulatory hurdles and ensures broader acceptance and implementation across different regions. By focusing on aneutronic fusion, we are paving the way for a cleaner, safer energy future that can be widely adopted globally.
Kronos Fusion Energy established the world’s first Fusion Energy Component factory in India. This landmark project, set to be strategically located in India, represents a significant milestone in the journey towards a sustainable and renewable energy future. By harnessing the transformative power of fusion energy, Kronos Fusion Energy is dedicated to reducing global emissions by an impressive 25%, inspired by the limitless energy generation of the sun. This initiative will help us achieve an unparalleled levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) of less than 40 cents per kWh, setting a new benchmark for affordable clean energy across the globe. By localizing component manufacturing and leveraging India’s advanced manufacturing capabilities, we are set to significantly reduce production costs and streamline operations.
“Our journey towards commercializing fusion energy is fueled by our strong partnerships and shared vision for a sustainable future. We are eager to collaborate with industry leaders and innovators to bring our S.M.A.R.T Fusion Energy generators to market. Together, we can achieve unprecedented advancements in clean energy technology,” said Michael Laughlin, COO of Kronos Fusion Energy.
